After the hard work by Amanda, Cody, Darren, Debbie, Dennis, Jason, Nicole, Phil, Rich Jr., Steve, and I, we were ready to race. We finished the car Thursday night and loaded it up for testing on Friday. After a long off season that saw the #84 Super Stock, aka "Trish" cooped up in the trailer, we finally got to test again. The car sat in the trailer since the BabyCancer.Org Christmas Party because of the cold weather here at home. We pulled the car out and began preparing it, going through the car part by part. Lug Nutzz invited us to the Speed Zone VIP Party, in which he hosted with Brad Keselowski.

A party with food, drinks and unlimited racing equals one great night!

Meeting Brad Keselowski was a treat. He was a real nice guy and took time to talk to Rich III and Nicole. After that, Rich III raced with Brad on the slick track. The highlight for Rich was spinning Brad out .. well, at least I can say it wasn't a "Carl Edwards" type take out .. it

Rich DeLong, III posted his first victory in the Super Stock division at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale on August 1, 2009. Congratulations to the whole #84 team! Now that the first one is out of the way, look for many more to come.
